Lucas Snyder (born 3 March 1982) is an Active Member of Theta Chapter (Θ 1184) at Mansfield University of Pennsylvania.

Early Fraternity Life and Career

Lucas Snyder originally attended Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in late 2000 and 2001 and was forced to take some time off from studying Computer Engineering. After a few years in the working world of his hometown, Towanda, PA, he decided to go back to school in the Spring of 2005, this time at the much smaller University of Mansfield. Not only did he change his University but also changed his major to Mathematics Secondary Education with a minor in Computer Science. However it was not till fall of 2006 that Lucas Joined Phi Sigma Pi. Since then he has held several positions, the highest of which being Vice President and plans to use a lot of the leadership skills that he has learned when he enters the teaching field.

Other Family Life

In Lucas's other family he is the oldest of three children with one sister and one brother. His sister is attending Penn State Harrisburg for her Graduate work and his brother is studying at East Stroudsburg University to become a Secondary Mathematics teacher. Lucas's parents separated shortly after he graduated high school and have not really talked much since but Lucas still keeps in contact with both.
