Marie Lazar (born 16 10 1990) is a Collegiate Member of Tau Chapter (T 1774) at East Carolina University. Marie was inducted as part of the Gamma Gamma Initiate Class.

Early Fraternity Life and Career
Marie Lazar decided to attend ECU because she was sick of the New Jersey cold winters and wanted a change of scenery. She was also close to family in North Carolina so ECU seemed like the perfect choice. Upon watching her roommates rush Phi Sigma Pi, Marie decided to join the fraternity herself and it has been a great experience so far.
Collegiate Years at Tau Chapter
In spring 2013, Marie was service chair. She organized the 13th annual Easter Egg Hunt. She also held events to play bingo with local senior citizens, raised money for a children's hospital through a dance marathon and collected non-perishable food for a food bank.
