Matt Butler (born 15 May 1985) is an Alumni Member of Beta Chapter (B 587) at Truman State University.

Early Fraternity Life and Career
Matt had a few friends who were in Beta and met a number of other brothers through them. After realizing that he shared a lot of ideals with them, he decided to rush in Spring 2006. Throughout his initiate season, he grew to appreciate the social and intellectual diversity that makes PSP unique and awesome.
Collegiate Years at Beta Chapter
Matt studied abroad in Galway, Ireland in Fall 2006, the semester immediately after his initiate season. Upon returning, he became known as an involved, opinionated, and outspoken brother. Matt served as Beta Chapter's Webmaster during the 2007-2008 year.
Alumni Years to Present
Matt is now pursuing a Master's degree in Library Science at Indiana University.
National Involvement
Matt attended Central Region's 2008 Regional Conference in Springfield, MO, hosted by Gamma Sigma Chapter. It was here where he learned to truly be proud of his "PSP-ness."
Over Spring Break 2008, Matt embarked on a road trip around the southeastern United States with fellow Betas Karen Uhlrich and former Regional Consultant Kelly Albright. They were lucky enough to stay with Andrew Whitely at Gamma Beta Chapter (Morehead State), Maham Akbar at Gamma Psi Chapter (William & Mary), and Christina Blackwell at Gamma Iota Chapter (College of Charleston).
PSP Family
Matt is a member of La Realeza, Beta Chapter's most prestigious and attractive family. Matt's Big Brothers are Josh Kemper and David Rothermich. He has one Little, Yu-Yu Ren.
The mere presence of La Realeza members often throws non-members into convulsive fits. Andy Rudolph, for example, develops a speech impediment in Matt's presence and can only refer to the family as "La Relala."
Other Interesting Facts
- In his spare time, Matt enjoys reading, playing video games, listening to music, and playing guitar.
- Matt is a staunch advocate of pirates and believes that they would beat ninjas in a fight.
