Michelle Giles (born April 25, 1991) is President of the Delta Kappa Chapter at University of North Texas.

Early Fraternity Life and Career

Before Phi Sig my life only consisted of school, work, and a small social life. I didn’t feel attached to UNT, and sometimes dreaded coming all the way to Denton from Garland just for class. I wanted to join a sorority, but all their activities didn’t really interest me. I got an email to come hear about Phi Sig, and after that there was no going back.

Collegiate Years at Delta Kappa

The better question is what Michelle does not do? She loves being a leader that brothers feel comfortable speaking to about anything, while also remaining respectful towards my position in the chapter. Some of my duties require delegation, which is where my wonderful Executive Board steps in. She has been privileged to work with brothers that humble and strengthen me during every interaction. While there have been highs and lows, Phi Sigma Pi has made her more dedicated, efficient, even keeled, and an overall better position.

Bigs and Littles

Michelle's bigs are Aldo Alfaro and Brooke Moore.

Twins: India Wilkerson, Cassie Dean, Tori Wheelis, Krista Hitt

Littles: Samantha Noureddine, LaMetria Bowser

The Chapter

My favorite part of our tripod is Fellowship. I have met so many great people and friends that I know I will have for life. We go so many places and do great things together. My brothers bring light into the dark, and help bring out the positives for me to see. Now that I have them, I don’t know what I would do without them!

Other Information

My family is my world, and my nephew is the center of it. I have 5 pets, 3 cats and 2 dogs, and they are my babies! I will be graduating in May 2014, and plan to start teaching in August 2014!
