Mike Kurinsky (born 30 January 1988) is an Active Member of Alpha Lambda Chapter (ΑΛ 443) at Temple University.

Early Fraternity Life and Career

Mike decided to attend Temple University, becoming the first member of his family not to go to the University of Maryland at College Park. After joining Temple Bowling and bowling at many NCAA tournaments throughout the country, Mike decided he wanted to meet more people and get involved on campus, so he joined Phi Sigma Pi. After going through the initiation process, he really liked it and got even more involved within the fraternity. He was treasurer of the Alpha Mu class.

Collegiate Years at Alpha Lambda Chapter

Once a Brother, Michael became the Rush Committee head, helping Lindsay Geerken as Initiate Advisor. Later that semester he became the co-Fundraising committee head with Lance Dixon. Michael was elected Treasurer for the 2008 school year. As Treasurer, Michael contracted the Alpha Lambda with Aramark at Lincoln Financial Field for the Summer and Fall 2008 to work various concerts including Kenny Chesney concert, all the home Philadelphia Eagles games, and a few college games such as Temple and Army/Navy game. For the Fall 2008 semester, Alpha Lambda has fundraised about $6000, which is a significantly more than the average of $300 in the past. Michael has been elected President for the 2009 school year.

Michael can solve the rubik's cube in 64 seconds and has taught over 20 people to solve it, including his twin brother, girlfriend, and roommates.
