Responsible Growth
Objective: Continue to expand the reach of Phi Sigma Pi to new students and university communities. Strive toward the mission of 200 university campuses but without overextending or sacrificing quality. Includes chapter startup and restarts goals, marketing and public relations tools, and chapter recruitment tools, consultation and assistance.

Civic Leadership
Objective: Make Teach for America (TFA) an integral part of Phi Sigma Pi's purpose and culture for its role in furthering the Scholarship and Leadership legs of the tripod. Support and encourage additional chapter efforts to serve their local and global communities.
RO 1.0 ABP Participation
Objective: Evaluate who to build Alternative Break participation amongst the brotherhood. Develop measures to retain membership of corp members. Determine ways to build on the Alternative Break Project experience for all parties involved.

Member Development
Objective: Through actions and culture, continue to advance the personal growth, learning and total experience of ALL our members through the phases of initiation, undergraduate membership, and alumni membership. Includes development of appropriate Phi Sigma Pi- and life-learning materials and sessions, incentives and awards, scholarships, and the National Alumni Association.
MD 1.0 NDC Proposals
Develop and environment for National Development Committee members to research and draft proposals on their own to supplement the work of National Council. The intent is to allow committee members to develop their proposal and strategic policy skills as well as their skills as a leader on national issues.

MD 2.0 Advisor Training
Create a training program for both Alumni and Faculty Advisors for collegiate chapters. Potential resources include Advisor manuals on the wiki as well as in person training sessions to parallel the Leadership Institute at National Convention.

Submit grant proposal to Foundation and execute for consultant and chapter delivery

MD 4.0 National Exam Feedback
Provide opportunity annual review of the national membership exam. The review period will take place in the spring of each year (February through May) with the final version approved by the National Council immediatly following National Convention.

Create and develop resources for Chapters to teach Parliamentary Procedure to new Members.

Encourage brothers to participate and contribute to communication and collaboration initiatives.

Provide opportunity for Phi Sigma Pi members to collaborate with the VPMD, National Council and Staff on a review of the 12th Edition of The Scholar's Province. The publication date for the 13th Edition will be determined once a formal review has been completed.

Organizational Strength
Objective: Continue to strengthen the units and links that make up Phi Sigma Pi. Includes chapter consultation and assistance, officer training, national and chapter communication tools, and a proactive approach to our increasing use of technology.
OS 1.0 Council Transparency & Communication
Increase transparency between National Council and the Brotherhood. Actions include Council meetings open to the Brotherhood, increased turn around time on National Council meeting minutes, communication with National Council via the blog, public documentation of National Council goals, objectives and progress, and improvements to the National Development Committee's participation in policy development.

Transition all officer manuals and remaining training manuals to the wiki along with respective resource guides.

Conduct national emergency preparedness exercises to let Chapters practice communication in emergency situations.

Provide guidance and resources to chapters interested in creating or enhancing existing local exams as part of their Initiation programming. NOTE: The use of a locally focused exam is not required by chapters, but has become common practice.
