:1. Any violation of Phi Sigma Pi’s National Event Risk Management policies or the Chapter’s risk management policies must be addressed by the Chapter through disciplinary procedures. In the event that an Alumni Member is in violation of the National Event Risk Management Policy, it will be addressed by the National Council.

:7. National Council will consider disciplinary actions for any alumni in violation of the National Event Risk Management Policy in accordance with the Sanction Procedures section of the National Operating Policy.
 
:8. The following are minimum disciplinary actions to be enforced for risk management violations.
 
::1. First Violation – One term of probation during which the Member will complete an additional risk management educational program for his/her respective Chapter related to the violation and will be prohibited from attending any National event in the next calendar year.
 
::2. Second Violation – One year of suspension from all Phi Sigma Pi activities and events.

1. The possession and/or use of alcoholic beverages and/or illicit use of controlled substances is strictly prohibited at all organized Phi Sigma Pi Nationally Sponsored Activities (as defined above) unless otherwise designated by National Council.
2. Alcoholic beverages may be permitted at Phi Sigma Pi Nationally Sponsored Activities as designated by National Council where the majority of attendees present are alumni of Phi Sigma Pi, only if it is sold on a cash or individual basis by a third party vendor. Unruly or intoxicated behavior by anyone in attendance will not be permitted.
3. The possession and/or use of alcoholic beverages in any situation must be in compliance with any and all applicable federal, state, county, city laws, and host property policies and regulations.

Reporting and Investigative Procedures

2. Once reported, the National Office will begin the investigation procedure in accordance with the Sanction Procedures section of the National Operating Policies.
