Nikeeta Slade (born 25 December 1988) is an Active Member Delta Kappa Chapter (Chapter roll #) at University of North Texas.

Early Life
Nikeeta was born in Nuremberg, Germany to a mother and father both committed to serving in the Armed Forces. She lived in Texas, Mississippi, and Virginia, but she proudly calls Texas home, though much of her family resides in Virginia. Her mother retired after an admirable 20 years of service in the U.S. Army, during her sophomore year of High School.
Collegiate Years at Sample Chapter
Before entering Phi Sigma Pi during the fall semester of 2008, Nikeeta aimlessly wondered the Mean Green campus in search of reason, truth, and understanding. Unfortunately, she didn't find those things but she found something even better. She stumbled upon a heated and riveting game of Candy Pong by the University Union. Just when she thought nothing could be better, she remembered the old adage "Behind every table of candy pong, there are great people." There she met brothers Jessica Parker and current alumni, Hunter Rauso as their cups runneth over with greatness. After meeting those fabulous folks, she decided to go to the rush event "Ice Cream Social" and played yet again another heated game, this time of zaney word fun, Mad Gab. After this, the rest was history.

- Nikeeta is currently in the process of writing a masterpiece entitled "Tomato Strife", a piece that describes how tomatoes are ostracized by the Veggie and Fruit groups, therefore leaving the tomato to feel alone.
- Enjoys History, especially Civil War Era, The Old South, African American History, and Ancient Civilizations.
- Loves soccer, played goalie in High School.
- Erykah Badu, Mariah Carey, Taking Back Sunday, Tupac, Carrie Underwood, Shania Twain, and Bone Thugs N Harmony are some of her favorite musical artists, just to name a few.
- Likes learning about sustainability, effects of colonialism on native cultures, social justice, and reading anything she finds entertaining.
