The Northeast Region is a region in Phi Sigma Pi comprised of seven Chapters:

  • Theta Chapter at Mansfield University
  • Beta Epsilon Chapter at Syracuse University
  • Beta Nu Chapter at Cornell University
  • Beta Pi Chapter at the University of Connecticut
  • Beta Upsilon Chapter at University of Massachusetts - Amherst
  • Delta Alpha Chapter at Rochester Institute of Technology
  • Delta Mu Chapter at the University of Maine

Historical Overview

Regions were created during the 2001-2002 academic year to allow chapters to associate with others geographically close to them. Each region has a Regional Consultant who acts as a resource for building a chapter's strength and providing a perspective from the national organization.

Regional Event: NERC

The NorthEast Regional Conference, or NERC, was created as a way of allowing the seven chapters in the Northeast Region to gather and partake in service, scholarship, and social events, as well as foster bonds between individual brothers in different chapters. The first NERC took place at Delta Alpha on the campus of Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY on April 4-6, 2002. Since then, the site has rotated through the other chapters in the region:

  • 2002: Delta Alpha
  • 2003: Beta Nu
  • 2004: Theta
  • 2005:
  • 2006:
