Peter E. Ostrander (born 5 October 1987) is an Alumni Member of Upsilon Chapter (Y 928) at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.

Early Fraternity Life and Career

In his sophomore year at Edinboro University, Peter learned about Phi Sigma Pi while looking for on campus involvement. He joined Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity in the Spring of 2008 where he was inducted into the Polar Bear family. During his active membership he has held a variety of positions including Fundraising Chair(Fall 2008), Service Chair (Spring 2009, Fall 2009), Risk Management Chair (Spring 2010) and Chapter President 2010-2011. He has attended Regional Conference and National Convention in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Collegiate Years at Upsilon Chapter

Peter came to Upsilon as a second semester sophomore. He was Service Chair of his pledge class Beta Upsilon, and has held various positions in Upsilon Chapter while an active member. His last two semesters at Edinboro University were served as Upsilon Chapter President. He was known for his knowledge of parliamentarian procedure, Chapter documents, National documents, and many points of trivia. He won the "Dare to be Different" award from Upsilon Chapter Fall 2010.

Alumni Years to Present

Peter completed a Masters in Educational Psychology in 2014 and is pursuing a M.A in Counseling at Edinboro University.
