For quarter schools, the website lists that induction fees and new member information are due on January 30. This completely bypasses the submission of the initiate risk management form. With the way the website is currently set up, the initiate risk management form also submits initiate information to the database. New member induction information submission is based on having the initiate information submitted first. For every other semester/quarter, Chapters submit new member information first, and pay initiate dues later. If quarter schools rush during the winter quarter and their initiate dues are currently due January 30, this is inconsistent with the format of the spring and fall semesters/quarters. As it stands now, risk management for the winter quarter is blended with the spring quarter because risk management forms are not due until April 30. The quarter schedule currently in place completely misses the winter quarter in regards to risk management forms.

• What is the motion to be made on this?

I move that the quarter school due dates for forms and dues be amended to better capture information and risk management from the winter quarter. Proposed changes to the quarter school winter due dates for forms and dues: January 30 Membership information (form 100A) National dues ($38.00) Brotherhood risk management (20A) Initiate risk management form (21A) March 1 New Member information (form 30) Initiate dues and fees ($133.00)

April and June due dates would stay the same.
