The following proposal will provide the National Staff with the authority to edit and revise the Regional Conference Planning Document. This document is currently provided to Regional Committee Delegates to assist in conference planning. In recent years, the office of the VPCD has edited and revised the conference planning document at the conclusion of the academic school year. These edits have included revising the positions of the Regional Delegate committee, adjusting the responsibilities of the regional delegates to reflect policy and other edits to bring the document in line with current policy and procedure. Upon approval, the National Staff will be given the authority to make the necessary edits and revisions in order to streamline the Regional Conference Planning and revision process. Upon approval, the National Staff will have the authority to:
- Edit and adjust language so the document is more concise
- Correct any grammatical issues within the document
- Ensure the document includes and reflects the newly created Five Star Regional Conference Program as well as any other supplemental guides created and maintained by the National Staff
- Make any other adjustments and revisions as deemed necessary by Member Services.
