Rachael Childress is a Collegiate Member of the Beta Phi Chapter at Western Kentucky University.

Early Fraternity Life and Career

Rachael was inducted into the Beta Phi Chapter in the Fall of 2013 with the Alpha Nu Initiate class. She was recruited by one of her pledge brothers, Chris Stanfield. She became a Big Brother during her first active semester in Spring 2014, and she served on the Recruitment/Retention and Risk Management committees.

Collegiate Years at Beta Phi

Rachael is interested in being Beta Phi's Recruitment/Retention chair in the future and has been active in efforts to recruit new Brothers. Her activity in the Chapter includes aiding in "Take Back the Night," an event in which Brothers walked against sexual assault and abuse, attending Risk Management events, such as listening to a Police officer speak on alcohol consumption, and social events, like our Chapter's bowling night.

Rachael's Big Brother is Emily Braunwart, who is currently serving on Beta Phi's Executive Board as the Secretary.

Other Interesting Facts

Rachael is an Interior Design major at WKU with a minor in Industrial Sciences. Her hobbies and interest include Cards Against Humanity, Apples to Apples, Habitat for Humanity, & Crafting. She is also a member of WKU's Honors College, the only program of its kind in Kentucky.
