Early Fraternity Life and Career

Rebecca decided to attend Montclair State University because it was close to home and a great school for teacher preparation. During her junior year after trying to find ways to get involved on campus Rebecca found Phi Sigma Pi. After getting to know the organization and the Brothers, Rebecca decided this was the right choice for her and was inducted in the spring of 2007.

Collegiate Years at Alpha Iota Chapter

Rebecca was the Fund-raising Chair for the 2007- 2008 school year. Taking on the role with very little experience Rebecca went above and beyond bringing in more than her personal goal of $2,000 in her first semester as an Active Brother. In the spring of 2008 she reintroduced the importance of Risk Management by proposing that Risk Management be a separate position for it to be a larger focus in the Alpha Iota Chapter so that events and co-sponsorships could run more smoothly. The following semester Rebecca served as the Parliamentarian and Risk Management Chair. While Student Teaching Rebecca gave up her positions because of her busy schedule. She remained as active as she could during her final semester at Montclair State. Rebecca graduated Cum Laude in the spring of 2009.

Rebecca was a member of the New York Metropolitan Area Alumni Chapter from 2009 to 2011. She served as the Recruitment Coordinator with NYMAAC from 2011-2012.
