Rich Harris

Rich Harris (born 2 October 1981) is an Alumnus of Alpha Rho Chapter (AP 5##) at Virginia Tech.

Early Fraternity Life and Career

Rich enrolled at Virginia Tech after graduating from high school, beginning in Fall 2000. As a sophomore, he rushed Phi Sigma Pi in Fall 2001. After a successful Initiation period, Rich was Inducted into the Chapter with the Upsilon Initiate Class in November of that year.

Collegiate Years at Alpha Rho Chapter

During his time as an undergraduate Brother, Rich was very active within the chapter. Sandwiched between semesters spent away from school on co-op experiences, he served as the chapter's Fundraising Chair. His senior year he served as the 15th President of Alpha Rho Chapter.

Alumni Years to Present

After graduating in May 2005, Rich remained at Virginia Tech to pursue a Master's in Aerospace Engineering. During graduate school he remained active Alpha Rho as a local alumnus and was recognized at the chapter's 2007 Alumni Banquet as the "Most Familiar Face".
