Robbie Cusella (born 11 May 1992) is an Alumni Member of Zeta Iota (ZI #25) at Saint Joseph's University.

Early Fraternity Life and Career

Robbie decided to attend Saint Joseph's University after attending an open house his junior year of high school. He loved the welcoming atmosphere of the campus community and the strong Jesuit tradition of the university. After returning from winter break in January 2011, Robbie found a flyer to join Phi Sigma Pi, not even knowing co-ed fraternities existed. Robbie was pinned as a member of the Charter Class on February 10, 2011 and inducted as a Brother on April 17, 2011.

In addition to his involvement in Phi Sigma Pi, Robbie was a very active member of the St. Joseph's University community. He worked as a tutor in the writing center; a tour guide through the Hawk Host organization and became a member of the executive board his senior year; led and planned freshman programming through the Iñigo First Year Experience; as well as participated in various service and social justice classes/trips.

Collegiate Years at Zeta Iota Chapter

Robbie was an original member of the first elected executive board, serving as the Recruitment Adviser for the 2012 term. During his tenure as Recruitment Adviser, Robbie worked to formalize the recruitment process for prospective members, creating a 3-week program consisting of information sessions, rush events, formal interviews, bid voting, and bid notification. Most notably, during the 2012 term Zeta Iota was able to recruit over 70+ interested members, eventually inducting 40 new Brothers between the Beta and Gamma Initiate Classes. He then was elected and served as Vice President during the Spring 2013 semester, overseeing improved committee transitions and more fully utilizing executive council members. In 2013, Robbie was elected and served as Zeta Iota's National Delegate for the Fraternity's National Convention in Philadelphia, PA. Outside of the executive board, Robbie served on a handful of committees including Public Relations, overseeing and creating the Chapter's first website and social media presence; Recruitment & Initiation during his term as Recruitment Adviser; and Service.
