Ryan Pothering (born 3 February 1988) is an Active Member of the Beta Upsilon Chapter (ΒΥ 179) at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He is an Active Alum of Phi Sigma Pi.

Early Fraternity Life and Career

Ryan pledged in Spring 2008 and was a member of the Social Committee along with Darius Shalforoosh, Stacey Perlman, and Jesse Norris for the Omega Pledge Class.

During the Fall 2008 semester, Ryan was a member of the Fundraising Committee along Sarah Martin, Jacqueline Berman, and Rachel Tritter. He also traveled with Uriel Rodriguez, Krystina Cahalan, Meaghan Whitfield, Korey Mendes, and Vincent Capone to the 2009 Brother Bowl, hosted by the Alpha Pi Chapter at Pennsylvania State University. Ryan served as Parliamentarian From Spring 2009 to Fall 2009. After his stint as Parliamentarian, Ryan was a part of the PR/ICR Committee with Meaghan Whitfield, Stephanie Geiser, Christine Robinson, and Carol Lawless. As of May 2, 2010, Ryan is now an Active Alumni of Phi Sigma Pi.
