S Family

The S Family is a Big/Little family of the Beta Kappa Chapter.

About the S Family

• The family originated with Brian "Squidy" Mock of the Delta Class (Spring 1996). His (non-Brother) freshman year roommate bestowed the nickname upon him.

• The S Family is, by far, the largest family of Beta Kappa (as of Fall 2012).

• The S Family has a tradition of "S names." Once a Brother takes a Little into the S Family the Little receives a (for some) secret "S name," chosen by their Big. For those who keep it secret, this name is to be known only to the Big and Little.
