Sarah Frankel decided to attend the University of Michigan as a transfer student from Colorado State University. During her first semester at Michigan, she joined Phi Sigma Pi as a Sophomore.

Sarah Frankel was Treasurer for Beta Alpha chapter in the Fall of 2008 before becoming inactive to study abroad. She was a member of the Scholarship Committee and planned a successful mock debate of the presidential primaries in the Spring of 2008.
