Stephanie Whitener, nee Glinn, (born 9 May 1985) is an Alumna of Alpha Chapter (Α 218) at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, MO.

Collegiate Years at Alpha Chapter

Stephanie was a very active member during her time at Central. She was initiated in March of 2004. She served as Initiate Advisor (05-06) and Chapter President (06-07). She also was the chair for the Risk Management committee. She was awarded Most Outstanding Brother by the Alpha Chapter for 2006 and 2007. In 2007, she was also named Miss Phi Sigma Pi. At the 2007 National Convention, Stephanie was awarded the Richard Cecil Todd & Clauda Pennock Todd Tripod Scholarship.

Stephanie was also involved in other ways on campus. She served as a Community Advisor for UCM for 3 years. With this position she advised many different residents. She served on the CA Council for the 2006-2007 year. In 2006 she was named CA of the Year. She was also a member of the Honors College the entire time at Central. She was a member of the Marching Mules for four years, two of those years being the Saxophone Team Leader. Three years in a row, she received the Best Marcher award. Stephanie was also a member of the National Residence Hall Honorary.

Alumni Years to Present

Stephanie attended Clemson University to obtain her master's in Counselor Education with an emphasis in Student Affairs. She served as a Resident Director for two residence halls. She went to a few Beta Kappa events and helped present at the regional conference when it was hosted at Clemson University. She graduated from Clemson in May 2010.

After graduation, Stephanie moved to Ames, Iowa to start a position at Iowa State University. She works as a Hall Director for one of the largest residence halls in the country. She works on several projects in the Department of Residence as well as throughout the university. She also teaches an academic skills course. While at Iowa State University Stephanie was instrumental in helping to organize and advise an expansion effort on campus. This led the the chartering of the Zeta Phi Chapter in January, 2013.
