In the early Spring of 2017, Stephen was reached out by members of the Epsilon Alpha Chapter to come up to the Spring Formal that year. Little did Stephen know, Epsilon Alpha would be handing out Chapter Service Keys for the first time in nearly 4 years. The Chapter kept this a secret to honor Stephen as nearly 2 years after his graduation, his impact was still felt on the Chapter. Stephen was humbled to be given one of two Epsilon Alpha Chapter Service Keys along with Katelyn Lenhart.

During the 2016 National Convention, an idea was formed by Stephen to start an Alumni Chapter in Charlotte North Carolina where he was moving. After talking to Chris Crout, several weeks later an interest group was formed on Facebook with the first interest meeting set for November 2016. Come the 2016 Phi Sigma Pi Day of Giving, Metrolina Alumni Association was officially recognized as Phi Sigma Pi's then newest Alumni Association with Stephen serving as their President, and Jenna Berinsky as Secretary. After 9 months of growth as a Chapter, in September of 2017 13 members including Crystal Simmerman as Metrolina's then Recruitment Coordinator petitioned National Council to become Phi Sigma Pi's newest Alumni Chapter. On October 14, 2017 Metrolina Alumni Chapter was officially recognized by National Council, and officially received their Charter at the 2018 National Convention. Stephen continued to serve in this role through July 2023 when he was elected as Vice President of Development on the National Council.

Stephen served Phi Sigma Pi as an Alumni Advisor for the Delta Kappa Chapter at University of North Texas: 2017-2019, and as Alumni Chapter Liaison for the Eta Xi Chapter at University of North Carolina at Charlotte (a Chapter in which he helped found): 2019-2021. Stephen most recently served as an Alumni Advisor for the Eta Omicron Chapter from 2018-2023, during that time he guided Eta Omicron Chapter to winning the [Clarence O. Williams Most Improved New Chapter Award]] during the 2020-21 Academic Year and was a Nominee for the Joseph Torchia Outstanding Chapter Award in only the Chapters 3rd year since receiving its Charter. Stephen's proudest moment came though when attending the Alumni Ritual for Founding Member Michala Penninger when he was inducted as an Honorary Member of the Eta Omicron Chapter.

Stephen has also been an advocate for volunteerism within the Fraternity Serving on the Chapter Excellence Board since its inception in 2018 to 2023 as an Operations Advisor. Stephen served as a guide and advocate for more than 15 Collegiate Chapters during that time. Stephen helped Epsilon Chi Chapter at University of North Georgia find the true potential in themselves as they were the recipient of the 2019 C.H. McClure Service Event Award at National Convention. Stephen also advised 3 Joseph Torchia Outstanding Chapter Award winners along with 10 of his Chapters being nominated for this most prestigious National Award. Unbeknown to Stephen, National Staff and Council created a new award called the Volunteer of the Year Award. This award is to recognize Volunteers who go above and beyond their role as a Volunteer, Stephen was shocked to find out he was the inaugural recipient of the Volunteer of the Year Award at the 2019 National Convention.
