But i think this page should really be called "Handling a Main Motion," since technically there are motions that do not require a second, and they may be handled differently. '''Point of Order''' is an example of a motion that requires no second and is handled strictly by the Chair. But main motions are always handled according to this process (barring, of course, interruption by other motions). I'll work on some formatting. But i think this page should really be called "Handling a Main Motion," since technically there are motions that do not require a second, and they may be handled differently. Point of Order is an example of a motion that requires no second and is handled strictly by the Chair. But main motions are always handled according to this process (barring, of course, interruption by other motions). I also think that the entire process of handling the main motion should be outlined here, not just the parts up to ending debate. FreshBoy 22:04, 22 March 2007 (EDT)
