But i think this page should really be called "Handling a Main Motion," since technically there are motions that do not require a second, and they may be handled differently. '''Point of Order''' is an example of a motion that requires no second and is handled strictly by the Chair. But main motions are always handled according to this process (barring, of course, interruption by other motions). But I think that the "Handling a Main Motion" page should exist somewhere--it's probably one of the most useful things a Chair could reference, since most Chapter meetings deal almost exclusively with Main Motions (at least in my experience).  But if we're going to make this page "Making a Motion" I think we need to remove the stuff about seconds, etc., since that's not really part of making the motion, and it's not applicable to all motions. I'll work on some formatting. But i think this page should really be called "Handling a Main Motion," since technically there are motions that do not require a second, and they may be handled differently. Point of Order is an example of a motion that requires no second and is handled strictly by the Chair. But main motions are always handled according to this process (barring, of course, interruption by other motions).
