I can't figure out a reasonable way to format this page. I have several other similar pages in the works, so any help or ideas would be appreciated. {Duff 21:27, 22 March 2007 (EDT)}

I'll work on some formatting. But i think this page should really be called "Handling a Main Motion," since technically there are motions that do not require a second, and they may be handled differently. Point of Order is an example of a motion that requires no second and is handled strictly by the Chair. But main motions are always handled according to this process (barring, of course, interruption by other motions). I also think that the entire process of handling the main motion should be outlined here, not just the parts up to ending debate. FreshBoy 22:04, 22 March 2007 (EDT)
I'm fine with the rename as well as entire motion. Like I said, I'm pulling a lot of basic and generic stuff from different sources. I know there will be a LOT more to add and amend, I just want to get a good start foundation to expand from. {Duff 00:12, 23 March 2007 (EDT)}
