Sober in October panel (CM-life.com - 26 October 09)
“Learn the Facts and Stay Sober in October,” is a panel discussion supporting Sober in October efforts from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday in the Charles V. Park Library Auditorium. Phi Sigma Pi (ΓΜ) Honor Fraternity is hosting, and there will be representatives from Mothers Against Drunk Driving, the CMU Police Department, a paramedic, personal stories from Brother Brittany Floer and others.

Sex at the Capstone: Alabama students hold sexuality forum (AL.com - 23 October 09)
University of Alabama students met to talk about several different aspects of sex at a campus sexuality forum Thursday night, the Crimson White student newspaper is reporting. The forum was sponsored by Phi Sigma Pi (ΔΒ), the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and Spectrum sponsored the forum.

Honor fraternities help decorate, improve resumes (Kentucky Kernel - 20 October 09)
Rebecca Street, president of the UK chapter of the Phi Sigma Pi (ΓΥ) national honor fraternity, said there is more to being a part of this type of organization than just to benefit a resume. “Phi Sigma Pi meets weekly and we have events all of the time, focusing on scholarship, leadership, which we do through service, and fellowship, which we do through social events,” she said. “For Phi Sigma Pi, it’s not only a chance to distinguish one’s self, but also to meet other like-minded people.

Volunteers clean Columbia creeks (themaneater.com - 17 October 09)
More than 300 volunteers showed up to the sixth annual Hinkson Clean Sweep on Saturday morning. Volunteers included local Columbia residents and various organizations, such as Phi Alpha Delta and Phi Sigma Pi (ΔΞ).

Homecoming Parade is a hit (Daily Campus - 12 October 09)
Phi Sigma Pi (ΒΠ) and Alpha Beta Epsilon, who combined for the events, chose Cocoa Pebbles as their cereal. Members dressed as the cast of the Flinstones and chanted the cheer "Yabba dabba do it!" throughout the parade.

Phi Sigma Pi to raise funds for Teach for America with 5k run (Daily Orange - 8 October 09)
Phi Sigma Pi (ΒΕ) and Syracuse University's Healthy Monday program will host their first 5K run Sunday to raise money for Teach for America. The organizers hope to raise $500-$600 and have about 75 participants at the event.
