Students dancing for a difference (TheTowerLight.com - 28 February 2010)
For 12 straight hours, students were on their feet to raise money for sick and injured children at the annual TigerTHON event Friday night through Saturday morning. Four members from Phi Sigma Pi (ΓΠ) said that they went to the event to help serve the community.

Donuts for Diabetes: Krispy Kreme Challenge held in Greenville (WNCT.com - 27 February 2010)
The second annual Krispy Kreme Challenge was held on 10th street in Greenville. The event is co-sponsored by Phi Sigma Pi Honors Fraternity (Τ) which supplied over 30 volunteers to help with the event.

Kim Ehlke and Shannon Crane (ΓΜ) dressed as Tweedledum and Tweedledee, and jumped with Phi Sigma Pi, a national honor society that provides scholarship, fellowship, and leadership. “We raised $5,000 for Special Olympics,” Ehlke said . “There are about 20 of us.”

Greeks dominate SA election pool (GWHatchet.com - 18 February 2010)
For the first time in recent history, the two candidates for president and four candidates for executive vice president are all members of the Greek community, representing Beta Theta Pi, Phi Kappa Psi, Phi Sigma Pi, Pi Kappa Alpha, and Sigma Chi. Katie Easter (ΒΜ), the president of national honor fraternity Phi Sigma Pi, said her chapter will be helping presidential candidate Xochitl Sanchez (ΒΜ) "poster" early Friday morning during the annual election tradition, in which candidates race each other for prime locations to advertise their campaigns.

'Haiti Week' gives relief on one-month anniversary of earthquake disaster (WM.edu - 10 February 2010)
Hosted by William & Mary Supports Haiti, a student-run umbrella organization of more than 11 student organizations, all benefits from this week's activities will be donated towards the University of Fondwa, a post-secondary institution catering to Haiti's rural poor that was demolished during the Jan. 17 earthquake that struck the island nation. William & Mary Supports Haiti is made up of such student groups as service fraternity Alpha Phi Omega, the Student Assembly, and honor fraternity Phi Sigma Pi (ΓΨ), among others.

Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton to Receive Excellence in Leadership Award at 3rd Annual Banquet (PRLog - 3 February 2010)
The Phi Sigma Pi, Alpha Tau Chapter Endowment Fund, Inc. (Endowment Fund) will host their Third Annual Awards Banquet. This year, the Endowment Fund, is pleased to announce that Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton will receive the inaugural “Excellence in Leadership Award” and deliver the keynote address.

Cal U student knows how a small gift can help children affected by violence (Post-Gazette.com - 28 January 2010)
After members of the women's swimming team, Black Student Union, Best Buddies, the Practitioners, Kappa Kappa Psi, Phi Sigma Pi (Κ), the Psychology Club and the Public Relations Student Society of America worked on the project over the fall semester, they delivered 30 blanket, bear and book bundles to the shelter Jan. 21.
