Head shaves for cancer research (SunGazette.com - 11 March 2010)
At least 12 lads and lassies have agreed to partake in the St. Baldrick's Head Shaving at Mansfield University on Wednesday. All proceeds raised go to St. Baldrick's Foundation to help raise money for childhood cancer research, said Breann Hass, event organizer. Phi Sigma Pi, Theta Chapter, which is the National Honors fraternity on campus, is hosting.

RSOs hope Unofficial breeds good moods, good donations (DailyIllini.com - 5 March 2010)
Alyssa Wright (ΕΖ), member of Phi Sigma Pi and sophomore in LAS, said her fraternity chose to sell green leis on campus because of the large number of people who are usually out during Unofficial, specifically on Green Street. The fraternity will be collecting donations to support its Relay for Life team, a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society that raises money for cancer research and awareness.

Cell phone drive to benefit women's shelter (TheBrownandWhite.com - 5 March 2010)
Lehigh honors fraternity Phi Sigma Pi (ΔΧ) is teaming up with the brothers of Delta Chi to host a series of cell phone drives to benefit the Turning Point Shelter in Bethlehem. According to Phi Sigma Pi Vice President Meghan Casey, '11, the Turning Point Shelter is the fraternity's local philanthropy, so they are committed to helping the shelter achieve its goals.

Students dancing for a difference (TheTowerLight.com - 28 February 2010)
For 12 straight hours, students were on their feet to raise money for sick and injured children at the annual TigerTHON event Friday night through Saturday morning. Four members from Phi Sigma Pi (ΓΠ) said that they went to the event to help serve the community.

Donuts for Diabetes: Krispy Kreme Challenge held in Greenville (WNCT.com - 27 February 2010)
The second annual Krispy Kreme Challenge was held on 10th street in Greenville. The event is co-sponsored by Phi Sigma Pi Honors Fraternity (Τ) which supplied over 30 volunteers to help with the event.

For the first time in recent history, the two candidates for president and four candidates for executive vice president are all members of the Greek community, representing Beta Theta Pi, Phi Kappa Psi, Phi Sigma Pi, Pi Kappa Alpha, and Sigma Chi. Katie Easter (ΒΜ), the president of national honor fraternity Phi Sigma Pi, said her chapter will be helping presidential candidate Xochitl Sanchez (ΒΜ) "poster" early Friday morning during the annual election tradition, in which candidates race each other for prime locations to advertise their campaigns.
