Members of the Phi Sigma Pi National Honors Fraternity (Τ) hosted its 9th Annual Easter Egg Hunt for ECU faculty, staff and their families. More than 200 children came out to ECU’s mall to try to find the 2,000 eggs, say high to the Easter bunny and get their faces painted. Kids could also participate in a variety of games.

Rent-A-Puppy supports area pet shelters (WMich.edu - 2 April 2010)
WMU students and community members can rent a cute puppy or dog for half an hour with a $5 donation and a state photo ID. The proceeds will benefit the SPCA of Southwest Michigan and WMU's Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity (ΓΡ), which organizes the event. About 20 dogs of all shapes and sizes will be available to rent.

Phi Sigma Pi raises awareness for safe driving (SunGazette.com - 22 March 2010)
Phi Sigma Pi President, Amber Staska (ΑΕ), was a good friend of Casey's, and wanted to honor her life. In order to honor Casey, Phi Sigma Pi ran with an idea presented by Staska and set out to raise awareness about distracted driving and pedestrian safety, as well as to raise money in honor of Casey. Although Casey was not a West Chester University student, several of her friends and her brother's friends attend the University, making the event something that hits close to home for several students.

Head shaves for cancer research (SunGazette.com - 11 March 2010)
At least 12 lads and lassies have agreed to partake in the St. Baldrick's Head Shaving at Mansfield University on Wednesday. All proceeds raised go to St. Baldrick's Foundation to help raise money for childhood cancer research, said Breann Hass, event organizer. Phi Sigma Pi, Theta Chapter, which is the National Honors fraternity on campus, is hosting.
