WCU students donate over 5000 bears (WCUQuad.com - 8 December 08)
Michelle Filling (ΑΕ) is an alumni of WCU and graduated in 2002. This year marked her 10th Bear Fair as a volunteer. As an undergrad she was the service chair of Phi Sigma Pi, national service fraternity, and also worked in the Office of Service-Learning. The reason that Filling keeps coming back every year is because shesaid she has personally seen how much it can help.

Phi Sigma Pi aims to reduce drunk driving (CM Life.com - 22 October 08)
On Monday in the Charles V. Park Library Auditorium, Phi Sigma Pi (ΓΜ) members handed out packets of information as guests arrived. The packets included MADD statistics from the state campaign to eliminate drunk driving, and four letters addressed to Gov. Jennifer Granholm asking that more laws be passed to help prevent drunk driving from occurring.

Students throw strikes to benefit American Cancer Society (The Maneater - 7 November 08)
On Wednesday, fellow members of honors fraternity Phi Sigma Pi (ΔΞ) joined her in as they bowled in Brady's Bowl Over Cancer, an event benefiting the American Cancer Society organized by the Student Union Programming Board.

Phi Sigma Pi, a coed honors fraternity, is also working on member recruitment. Open to students of all majors, the fraternity focuses on academic and social activities.
