Phi Sigma Pi sponsors comedy competition (kentnewsnet.com - 4 December 09)
Tomorrow, the Kent State chapter of Phi Sigma Pi will host a comedy competition. The event will be from 4 to 7:30 p.m. in the Kiva, and all proceeds will benefit Teach for America. "We believe everyone deserves a good education and the chance to shape their own future," said Mary Brodland (ΒΒ), senior general studies major and chair of the comedy competition event. "We need help supporting these low-income children and giving them a chance to rise to their full potential."

Roughly 40 decorated cars filled West Virginia University’s Coliseum parking lot waiting for costumed children to arrive for the annual Trunk-or-Treat event Monday evening.
