Dorskind and Eddie Brack, '13, members of the Women's Center, worked with Phi Sigma Pi (ΔΧ) honor fraternity and Break the Silence. They urged students on campus to wear red on Wednesday to support domestic violence awareness.

Chili fires up competition (MTSUSidelines.com - 24 October 2010)
Eighteen teams representing student groups and Greek associations faced off Friday evening in the annual Homecoming Chili Cook-Off competition. This year's winners in the student organization category were Baptist Collegiate Ministries in third place, the Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity (ΒΨ) in second place, and the Third Baptist Church group in first place.

Student to receive impact award (wcu.edu - 19 October 2010)
A Western Carolina University student who is making service to the deaf community her life’s work will be honored Saturday, Nov. 6, at the state level for her efforts and achievements. Shaneé Sullivan (ΓΖ) will receive a Community Impact Student Award from North Carolina Campus Compact, a statewide coalition of college and university leaders dedicated to promoting community service, service learning and civic engagement in higher education.

Strong self-confidence, a successful workout program and top-notch Irish dancing skills helped Arlington resident and Washington-Lee High School graduate Caitlin Uze (ΒΡ) best 29 competitors to win the Miss Virginia 2010 pageant June 26 in Roanoke. This spring, Uze was Relay for Life captain for Phi Sigma Pi, a coed national honors fraternity.

Co-ed honors fraternity raises money for Habitat for Humanity (The Standard Online - 4 May 2010)
Phi Sigma Pi, a co-ed national honor fraternity, raised more than $200 from April 30 through April 31 for Habitat for Humanity during their annual event, Sleep Out for the Homeless. "Sleep Out for the Homeless was a great success this year," said Brittany Norton (ΓΣ), the fraternity's service chair. "We raised a total of $210.26. This beat last year's contribution of $182.18."
