A love letter to my time at a small school (trinitonian.com - May 4, 2015)
Having spent my first year participating in “social activities,” my sophomore year was spent attempting to pack my resume with decent looking credentials. I co-founded Phi Sigma Pi (ΖΤ), the National Honor Fraternity on campus. I worked as an assistant for an international lawyer downtown who didn’t know how to type on a computer. I interned for U.S. Senator John Cornyn in his San Antonio headquarters.

‘I did it my way’ (DailyCollegian.com - April 29, 2015)
Looking back, I made a lot of impulse decisions. I couldn’t even really call them decisions because I kind of just did things without really questioning them. How could I go to the University of Massachusetts and not join the marching band? Not take the opportunity to go on Birthright, then return to Israel three more times? Not pursue my journalism major and write for the Collegian? JoiningPhi Sigma Pi (ΒΥ) threw me a curveball; the amount of times I’ve had to explain that, yes, I am a girl in a fraternity – it’s gender-inclusive.

Cleanup marks Earth, Arbor days in Evanston (ChicagoTribune.com - April 28, 2015)
Despite the cold, drizzly weather on Saturday, April 25, volunteer clean up crews were out carrying trash bags for a community-wide observation of Earth Day and Arbor Day. "It took a lot of work but it's pretty cool to see it planted," said Lantz (ΖΟ), 20, a sophomore from Indianapolis. "It's been nice to be part of Evanston. It's nice getting to know the community. It's cool to be a part of it."

Non-OFSA Greek organizations foster a similar sense of community and alternative to the typical Greek house (TheBrownandWhite.com - April 2, 2015)
At Lehigh, the words “Greek life” tend to be associated with chapters recognized by the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs, or groups residing on the Hill. However, an entirely different group of chapters is also part of Lehigh’s Greek culture and environment. The Lehigh chapters of Alpha Omega Epsilon, Alpha Phi Omega, Sigma Phi Delta, and Phi Sigma Pi (ΔΧ) are just some of the student-run Greek organizations that are similar in nature to the OFSA-affiliated chapters, but differ in their mission, focus and operations.

Fraternities face scrutiny, self-analysis after series of scandals (BaltimoreSun.com - March 24, 2015)
Fraternity culture is "very distinct, and a lot of times it's secretive," said Zac McGee (ΓΠ), a Towson University student, member of the coed honor fraternity Phi Sigma Pi and president of the University System of Maryland Student Council. "The question is, can you find a way to promote a brotherhood or a sisterhood without having physical or mental harm?" McGee said.
