Early Fraternity Life and Career
Tracy Kennedy enrolled at Virginia Commonwealth University in the fall of 2008. After one semester of vanilla college, Tracy decided that she wanted to meet people more like herself and be more involved in college life. During her second semester of college, she accepted an invitation from the Alpha Sigma chapter to attend their Tripod Week events, leading her to befriend several of the Brothers.
After a very competitive interview process, Tracy was informed via a creepy phone call that she was to attend an induction ceremony and begin the process of becoming a Brother.
Timmy Thoi was assigned to be Tracy's Big Brother, and welcomed her to the fraternity with a gift of a can of Campbell's chicken soup and a pack of Almond Joys.
After acing the National Exam, Tracy and the rest of the Chi class performed presentations for the Brothers of Alpha Sigma in order to demonstrate their worthiness as Initiates.
Tracy's presentation involved reading a pop-up book she made entitled "The PSP Ark." It featured the Photoshopped images of both Brothers and Initiates as their favorite animals.
Collegiate Years at Alpha Sigma
Tracy is known at Alpha Sigma as the resident crazy-person because of her rather eccentric tastes in everything. For Halloween in 2009, Tracy attended a chapter Halloween party dressed as none other than Lady Gaga, complete with black babydoll lips and a ridiculous outfit that she lovingly picked for the occassion.
Later that semester, Tracy danced the night away at Semi-Formal and acted a complete fool to everyone's delight.
However, outside of special events and holidays, Tracy usually plays the part of a very low-key and rather socially awkward member of civilized society. In fact, she played the part so well as a newly inducted Brother that she was elected to serve as the Public Relations adviser to the Alpha Sigma chapter in 2009. Tracy was unable to serve her full term during that academic year because she got internship in Washington D.C. for the spring semester, and as such, had to temporarily transfer out of Virginia Commonwealth University and go inactive for a semester.
Tracy has since returned to both Virginia Commonwealth University and Alpha Sigma, and is currently trying to learn the names of all of the NIBs that were inducted during her absence.

Other Interesting Facts
Tracy has won several journalism awards, including first place in the Hearst Multimedia Competition in 2009 and second place in the Society of Professional Journalists' Region II Mark of Excellence competition. She has interned at WTVR in Richmond, Virginia, Clear Channel Radio, and NBC Nightly News in Washington D.C..
