Early Fraternity Life and Career
Whitney was born and raised in Denton, Texas. She transferred to the University of North Texas during the spring of 2010 and then rushed the spring of 2011. She majored in Social Work with minors in Rehabilitation Studies and Addictions. Getting this degree will help aid her in reaching her goal of counseling with military and veteran populations who have mental health issues and social issues. Once she graduates Whitney plans to attend graduate school to further her education and skills so she will be a better assets to those in need. Collegiate Years at Delta Kappa
During her first term as an active brother she assumed the role as Service Chair for the Fall 2011 and Spring 2012 semester. As of the spring elections she was voted to become the new Rush Adviser for the Fall of 2012 and Spring 2013. During her time as a Brother, she has had many opportunities to improve her leadership skills as well as make many wonderful friends.
