Yubo (Mike) Wu (born 16 July 1990) is an Active Member of Beta Alpha Chapter (ΒΑ 527) at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Early Fraternity Life and Career
Yubo decided to attend the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor fall of 2007 while still attending Northville High School. At first, he joined Linguistics Club, which almost never met. Later on, he attended the pre-professional fair in February 2010 where he encountered Samantha Greenberg (Class of 2011), that semester's Rush Adviser and Sarah Frankel (Class of 2011), that semester's Historian, who successfully sold him on rushing Phi Sigma Pi. Currently, Yubo is an active brother of the Alpha Kappa class, having served on the Philanthropy Committee under Christine Altermatt (Class of 2011) and Interchapter/Alumni Committee under Cassie Lama (Class of 2013).
His sophomore year, he worked in the West Quad Dining Hall in the dishroom for the most part and volunteered at the English Language Institute as a Language Circle Leader. Besides Phi Sigma Pi, he was a proud member of the German Club, a research assistant at the Ruthven Natural History Museum and a Study Group Leader for Organic Chemistry.
Collegiate Years at Beta Alpha Chapter
Yubo was elected Scholarship Chair in midterm elections for Winter 2011, replacing brother Arielle Mellen, who went off to study abroad in Brussels. He then replaced Holly Stehlin as Parliamentarian for Winter 2012.
He belongs to the O'Brien Family, sired by Michelle O'Brien via parthenogenesis, an apparently inherited trait in the O'Brien lineage.
National Involvement
Bigs and Littles
Yubo Wu's Big Brother was Matt Gray (Class of 2010), who was the Fellowship Chair from Fall 2009 to Winter 2010.
His little is Luke Bruski, Class of 2014 and former affiliate. Luke has served as Initiate Leadership Chair and Affiliate Advisor. As an affiliate, he attended the Cedar Point Fundraising Trip with 9 other brothers and is a great addition to Phi Sigma Pi Beta Alpha.

Other Interesting Facts
Yubo is trilingual, speaking Chinese, English and German. He can also utilize very elementary French and can read Russian (but not understand it) and has studied Old English (Anglo-Saxon) with fellow brother Kerith Asma.
Yubo also loves spicy food. A jar of jalapeno slices, bag of Flamin' Hot Cheetos, or plate of MaPo Tofu usually does the trick. He secretly wishes he carried a bottle of Sriracha with him at all times.
