Zach Hummel (born 6 March 1988) is an Alum of Beta Delta (ΒΔ701) at North Carolina State University.

Early Fraternity Life and Career
Zach decided to enroll in North Carolina State's College of Engineering after being selected as a semi-finalist for the Park Scholarship. He graduated high school in 2006, after completing a pre-engineering program with Jack Britt High School's Integrated Systems Technology Academy, in Fayetteville, North Carolina. A few short weeks into his third year at NC State, he attended a Phi Sigma Pi open rush after receiving an e-mail invitation. He received a bid after that Fall 2008 rush, and served as class Treasurer for his Initiate class. He was inducted as one of seventeen members of the Alpha Eta Initiate Class in November, 2008.
Collegiate Years at Beta Delta Chapter
During his first semester as an active Brother, Zach served as Leadership Co-Chair and Web Chair intern, despite the fact that he worked full-time as a Co-op with IBM. Zach was elected to the position of Internal Secretary for the following (2009-2010) year. He served as the Chapter's Webmaster from 2008 until 2011, and served as Parliamentarian for the 2010-2011 academic year.
Zach thoroughly enjoys meeting Brothers from other Chapters. He has attended many fraternity events hosted by Brothers from up and down the East coast, and attended both the 2009 National Convention and 2010 National Convention as Beta Delta's delegate.
Zach graduated from North Carolina State University in May 2011 with Bachelor of Computer Science degree. He currently works for a company located on North Carolina State's satellite campus, and remains involved with the local Chapter. He served as Beta Delta's Alumni Adviser for the 2011-2012 academic year. He joined the Phi Sigma Pi Foundation in August 2013.
