The Alpha Rho Gamma Family (ΑΡΓ), or ARG, is a family of Zeta Iota Chapter descended from Robbie Cusella.
Family History & Tradition
The Alpha Rho Gamma Family was created during the Spring 2012 semester when Charter Class Brother Robbie Cusella received his first little, Eleni Kaltsidou. Originally Alpha Rho Gamma was named Sigma Sigma Phi; however, during the Fall 2013 semester a re-branding of the family resulted in a new name and theme. Robbie and Eleni welcomed two new family members during the Delta Class Induction on April 18, 2013 with Greg Ferroni and Jess Falkenstein respectively.
Today the ΑΡΓ Family proudly carries the insignia of pirates and their family heirlooms include a signed Jolly Roger flag, captain hat, and stuffed parrot that is passed down to each successive patriarch in the family.
As of 2014, Alpha Rho Gamma currently has 6 family members representing the Charter (2011), Beta (2011), Delta (2013), and Zeta (2014) classes. On May 1, 2014, ΑΡΓ initiated Paul Karoly and Alessandro Sparacio as the newest family members during the Zeta Class Induction.
