Zeta Iota Beta Class at Delta Class Induction

The Beta Class is initiate class part of the Zeta Iota Chapter at Saint Joseph's University. The Beta Class started with 25 initiates who were pinned. Two initiates dropped from the program. 23 brothers got but now there are 22, as one brother resigned due to time commitments.

Beta Class

• The Betas were pinned February 19, 2012 in the North Lounge at Saint Joseph's University.

• The Betas were inducted April 17, 2012 in the North Lounge at Saint Joseph's University.

• The Betas were recruited by the Recruitment Advisor, Robbie Cusella.

• The Betas were taught and initiated by the Initiate Advisor, Tom Heleniak.

Scavenger Hunt (Social)

• 31 March 2012, 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Entire Saint Joseph’s University Campus

Brothers along with initiates were split into teams and had a list of different locations they had to go to. After they found the location, they had to take a photo of everyone and send it to the brother who was running the event. The first group who made it back to the starting point, won.

Bill Nye Video and Experiment (Scholarship)

• 2 April 2012, 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
• Sourin Lounge

Initiates and Brothers watched a Bill Nye video and then had an experiment afterwards. They learned to make slime. There was snacks during the event.

Yapple (Fundraising)

• 15 April 2012, 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
• Wynnewood, PA

Brothers, Initiates, and their friends got to enjoy frozen yogurt together. The fraternity got a percentage of the sales.

Collection of school supplies (Service)

Initiates collected school supplies from brother for Teach for America.
