Zeta Iota Parliamentarian

Parliamentarian Jess Falkenstein

The Parliamentarian of Zeta Iota is responsbile for writing amendments to Bylaws and Operating Polic. They are also responsible for knowing Robert's Rules of Order. As of 2014, Zeta Iota has had 5 Parliamentarian. The term of length for Parliamentarian is two semesters. The term begins in the Spring Semester. The first Parliamentarian was Justin Colaprico. The current Parliamentarian is Jess Falkenstein

Duties

The following duties are according to Zeta Iota's bylaws:

1. Maintain order at all official Chapter meetings and events
2. Be responsible for maintaining and upholding Robert’s Rules of Order.
3. Review the Chapter Bylaws and submit proposed changes to the Chapter for their approval
4. Preside over the Chapter meeting in the absence of the aforementioned Executive Board members
