Colleen Shannon (born 11 Nov 1993) is an Collegiate Member Member of Zeta Iota (ZI #49, Β 3) at Saint Joseph's University.
Contents
Early Fraternity Life and Career
Colleen decided to attend Saint Joseph's University because they had a very welcoming environment. She actually got a tour from another brother, Raya Abat. She joined Phi Sigma Pi because of another brother, Meg Donovan, was her Ignite retreat leader her freshman year. Meg talked Colleen into rushing. She fell in love right away when she went her first rush event, speed dating. Colleen was pinned into the Beta Class on February 19, 2012. She enjoyed the entire process of being initiate, especially going to a ICR bowling event with Epsilon Tau. She was inducted on April 17, 2012.
Collegiate Years at Zeta Iota
Colleen's first position that she held was Alumni Chair and Inter-Chapter Relations Chair when she was elected for a term from Spring 2013 to Fall 2013 . She also held the Regional Delegate position from Fall 2013 to Spring 2014. She was the Regional Delegate when Zeta Iota hosted Regional Conference on February 22-23, 2014. This was the first Regional Conference Zeta Iota has ever held. It was a great success with brothers from every chapter in the region making an appearance.
