Location: University of South Carolina
Planning required: Resources required: room reservation, supplies, advertising, volunteers

Event Summary: Alpha Upsilon created and distributed a Parent's Newsletter twice a semester. Additionally Alpha Upsilon organized a Parent's Weekend on campus. The chapter sent out invitations to all of the Parent’s inviting them to attend Parent’s Weekend hosted by the chapter. The chapter hosted a tailgate before the game which ran from a few hours before the game, through the end of the game. We had a catered lunch, complete with a DJ. It was a huge success. We also had a box set up so that people could drop off school supplies for Teach For America. Everyone that came brought something. The following morning, we hosted an awards brunch. Brothers spoke about the three legs of the tripod, and awards were given out. Afterward, we had photo cards made of our entire Chapter thanking Parent’s for attending.
