Joshua Ryan Coonrod (Born 6 December 1981) was inducted into the Delta Xi Chapter (ΔΞ ???) at the University of Missouri-Columbia in April of 2002. He is currently serving his first term as National Secretary.
Contents
Early Fraternity Life and Career
Joshua decided to attend the University of Missouri in August of 2000 because of their journalism school. While there, he also decided to pursue a secondary degree in English. He graduated with dual degrees in May of 2004.
Joshua joined the Delta Xi chapter of Phi Sigma Pi in the spring semester of 2002. The fraternity was recommended to him by two friends from his hometown of Rolla, MO. Seeing that those two friends were polar opposites, he attended an informational night to see what kind of organizaiton would attract such a diverse group of people. He was inducted into the fraternity that April.
Collegiate Years at Sample Chapter
While at Delta Xi, Joshua served on the Intiation Committee from August 2002 to May 2003. He was elected to the position of Intiate Advisor and served in it from May 2003 to May 2004. He was voted Most Improved Brother in 2004 after being hired as a Phi Sigma Pi Region Consultant.
Alumni Years to Present
Josh's years since becoming an alumni have all been spent in service to the fraternity. After graduating, he worked as a region consultant for the Central, Mid-Atlantic, and Mid-South regions, as well as three chapters in the Southwest. He also worked with the founding members of Epsilon Zeta to help start their chapter of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in the fall of 2004.
Joshua acted as the Alumni Advisor for Delta Xi chapter from Fall 2005 to Spring 2006, as well as serving on the National Membership Development Committee.
Joshua was elected to the position of National Secretary at the 2006 Grand Chapter in Kansas City, MO.
As National Secretary, Josh chairs the Communications and Technology Committee as well as the Awards, Scholarship, & Emblem Committee.
National Involvement
As a member of National Staff, Joshua attended all national events during the 2004 - 2005 school year and helped to run and set-up most of the activities that took place at them. Sicne then, Joshua has attended the 2005 National Convention, the 2006 Grand Chapter, and the 2006 National Convention, where he was inducted as National Secretary.

Joshua's Big Brother is Erin Schlottach, who is now located in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
He has one Little Brother.
