Early Fraternity Life and Career
Colleen chose to attend Temple University after deciding that she wanted to go to school in Philadelphia, and that Temple truly was the right place for her. With a very strong College of Liberal Arts, she was convinced that her language studies would be well supported and that the university would offer numerous academic opportunities. She is currently pursuing a dual-major in Spanish and French, with a minor in Italian. She also hopes to partake in a Dual Degree Program that would allow her to receive a Masters in Education during a fifth year.
Colleen decided to rush Phi Sigma Pi during the spring semester of her freshman year. She was looking to become more involved on campus, and Phi Sigma Pi was a perfect fit. The organization's ideals of scholarship, leadership and fellowship all appealed to her, and she happily accepted her bid. She completed the initiation process with the rest of the Alpha Pi class, and was inducted in May of 2009. She is looking forward to her first year as a brother, and thinks that this organization will be an incredible addition to her Temple experience.
