The University of Cincinnati followed his graduation from Western Brown High School in Mount Orab, Ohio in June 2005. During his junior year in college, Alex found himself needing to discover both himself and a purpose within his collegiate years and after receiving a letter from Phi Sigma Pi as well encouragement from another initiate, Emily Devers, he chose to take an active role and became an initiate in Fall 2008. Successfully completing his initiate training alongside thirty-four other members, Alex was inducted on November 5, 2008 into the newly formed Epsilon Rho chapter.
