Early Fraternity Life and Career
Avery Davis joined Phi Sigma Pi as a sophomore at UNT. She found out about Phi Sigma Pi through her Big, Ellen Doss, whom she met at a get-together thrown by a mutual friend. She found her way to UNT due to the merchandising degree program they offer. Her mother is an alumni of the University of North Texas and frequently visits the campus. She is very involved at UNT and appreciates the diverse nature of the university.

Avery Davis is a new Brother looking forward to what Phi Sigma Pi has to offer and forming an internal bond with her Brothers.
Avery's favorite part of the PSP tripod is scholarship: "I like scholarship because I always get to expand my knowledge base and help others. It's a living and learning opportunity." Her most memorable PSP moment was the banquet.

- Has been to 14 states (her life goal is to visit all 50).
- Collects Beanie Babies (so far has over 100).
- Her aunt was the campaign manager for Bill Clinton.
- Has only had one job for the past 4 years (she would like to make a career out of it).

- Has an obsession with Vera Bradley.
- Plays the clarinet, piano & guitar (kind of).
- A lover of the arts: knows ballet, jazz, tap, and hip-hop style dancing.
After graduation, Avery plans on having a career in E-Commerce with a future masters in business administration.
Outside of Phi Sigma Pi, Avery is a member of the National Retail Federation Student Association, College of Merchandising, Hospitality, and Tourism, a volunteer at Shepard's Helping Hangs, a Build-a-Bear Workshops Team Member, a teaching assistant for a professor in the Digital Retailing Curriculum and a peer mentor to the undergraduate freshman students. Avery is also doing volunteer research on ethnic fashion and recently obtained a certification in E-commerce.
