Christine is currently the Internal Secretary for the [[Beta Alpha Chapter]] during the [[2009]]-[[2010]] school year. Before taking an officer position, in winter [[2009]] she was a member of the Scholarship Committee and helped in the planning of the book club. In fall [[2009]] she was a member of the Fellowship committee and helped plan the Halloween Murder Mystery Party as well as Beta Alpha's Semi-formal at the end of the semester. Currently as Secretary, Christine has helped reorganize the Chapter's internal records and data base. She has also helped redefine the attendance policies and records.

Christine is a Senior at the University of Michigan studying Molecular and Cellular Developmental Biology and Biomedical Engineering. Christine Belzyt joined Phi Sigma Pi the first semester of her Junior year at the University of Michigan. She was elected as the secretary of her Initiate Class Alpha Eta.

The lab focuses on Very early development of the mammalian nervous system in embryonic stem cells. Christine has worked there since September 2006, and is currently working on a project investigating the role of geminin in Neuroblastoma cells. Christine has also worked at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota as a Summer Undergraduate Research Fellow.
