Eboard Minutes from January 14, 2008

  1. Master calander:
    • Info nights - Feb 11-12 in Humn 1B50, brothers here at 7 – start at 7:30
    • 1st Prospectives meeting - Feb 18 at 7:15
    • Pinning - Feb 25 at 8 – need rooms for pinning and induction
    • Induction - April 7 at 7, elections at 8
    • April 14 – second half of elections
    • Retreat - March 7-9
    • History Night - March 17
    • April 21 – officer transitions
    • April 28 – alumni ceremony
    • Formal 4/12 or 19
    • RROO night - March 10
  2. Make Jerilyn an alumni
  3. No meeting next week
  4. Initiates need to learn about risk management
  5. Vincent has some students in mind for rush
  6. Take anonymous suggestions for event failure consequences

Monday, January 14, 2007

Meeting is called to order at 8:17 by President Lauren Snella.

  3. Minutes from December 3 read and approved without objection
  4. Officer Reports
    1. President
      • Fill out emergency contact cards if you didn’t last semester
      • No meeting next week
      • Master calendar is written on the board
      • Stay after meeting for pen pal letters
      • our regional consultant, Brian’s visit March 17-20
      • make anonymous suggestions in the office for consequences for not meeting event requirements
    2. Vice President
      • new committees are being formed and will be on the BOW soon
    3. Secretary
      • send Chelsea an email with academic events you have completed
    4. Treasurer
      • dues need to be turned in on Feb 4 - $80 for everyone
    5. ECA
      • RayAnne needs to know if anyone will be inactive this semester
    6. Rush Advisor
      • prerush practice meeting is 2/4
      • Sign up for a task on Kim’s sheet
      • Committee chairs plan 2 events for rush and let Kim know
      • Nu class sign up for rush tshirts
    7. History
      • Post pictures!
      • Best photo and most photos win $25
      • If you go to an event and want to take pictures, let eric know if you need a camera
      • Someone needs to take pictures at homeless shelter
