Daniel L. Spracher (born 27 January 1983) is an Alumnus of Alpha Rho Chapter (ΑΡ 562) at Virginia Tech.

Early Fraternity Life and Career
Following in the steps of his parents, older sister, older brother, and many other extended family members, Dan decided to enroll at Virginia Tech after graduating from Blacksburg High School, beginning in Fall 2001. As a sophomore, he further followed in his brother Dave's footsteps by rushing Phi Sigma Pi in Fall 2002. After a successful Initiation period, Dan was Inducted into the Chapter with the Chi Initiate Class in November of that year.
Collegiate Years at Alpha Rho Chapter
Dan was very active as an undergraduate at Alpha Rho, and held multiple leadership positions, including the offices of Fundraising Chair, Fellowship Chair, and Treasurer. Dan was also a key member of the Chapter's intramural sports teams, often serving as captain.
Dan was recognized with a variety of superlatives and awards during his time as an undergraduate. In Fall 2004 he was awarded the Chapter's Spirit Award at the Alpha Rho/Beta Delta Founder's Weekend. He also received the Most Exemplary Fellowship superlative for his true embodiment of fraternal fellowship. Other superlatives Dan received during his time in college included Most Eligible Bachelor and Most likely to never leave Blacksburg.

At the 2009 Alumni Weekend, Dan was honored for his participation as an Alumnus with the Loren P. Johnson Outstanding Alumni Award. The following year, Dan was elected to a two-year term on the Alpha Rho Alumni Advisory Board (AAB). In 2011, Dan was recognized for his continued involvement and dedication as a local alumnus with the Rexford J. Card Exemplary Local Alumni Award.
