David Mills (born 7 Jan 1974) is an Alumni Member of Alpha Chapter (A #2034) at University of Central Missouri.

Early Fraternity Life and Career

David Mills decided to attend University of Central Missouri (then called Central Missouri State University) in 1999, based on advice from a relative, the presence of cousins already attending there, and stupidly chasing after a girl (who got engaged to another guy before he even started his first class). He joined Phi Sigma Pi along with the rest of the Charter Class, and took part in the chapter reactivation on December 12, 2000.

Collegiate Years at Alpha Chapter

  • Chapter Webmaster (Spring 2001 - Fall 2002)
  • Chapter Historian (Fall 2001 - Spring 2002)
  • Chair of Alumni Relations Committee (Fall 2001 - Spring 2002, Spring 2004)

Alumni Years to Present

David hasn't been very active in Phi Sigma Pi since graduating, due to a largely fruitless job search. Since securing a salaried (though low-paying) job in the fall of 2006, he has made sporadic attempts to resume fraternity involvement, but keeps getting distracted by job demands.

National Involvement

  • Roadtripped with 9 brothers from Beta Chapter all over New England for Spring Break 2002
  • Attended National Convention in 2001
  • Attended WICKED numerous times

Bigs and Littles

David's (adoptive) Big Brother is Drew Volturo of Alpha Eta Chapter.

David has 3 Little Brothers:

  • Felicia Margaretha, Alumnus
  • John Medley, Alumnus
  • Chris Roller, Alumnus

Other Interesting Facts

Isn't it bizarre speaking of yourself in the third person like this?
