Elissa Cohen (born 26 06 1990) is a Collegiate Member of Beta Nu at Cornell University.

Life Leading Up to Beta Nu

Born June 26, 1990 on a sunny, yet slightly breezy, day in Philadelphia (easy enough, considering it's always sunny in Philadelphia), Elissa was a healthy baby, full of life and vivacity. One of her favorite toys when she was between the ages of 2-4 was a brown cardboard box which had previously housed the new refrigerator of her family. Although her lifelong childhood companion, Snowflake the polar bear has and will remain with her always.

Elissa was that go-getting type of gal growing up: she played soccer, she fenced saber, she was secretary of her student government, she sang in her choir, she was heavily involved in her theatre department, she founded a Rotary International chapter at her high school, she knitted, etc.

Elissa matriculated to Cornell University for the Fall of 2008. She began her academic life at Cornell as a Physics Major, after falling in love with gravity in high school; however, she realized that despite her love of Physics, there was some friction, and she needed to part ways. After taking a variety of Economics, Government, and Sociology courses, Elissa declared herself an Economics Major, minoring in Law & Society, Inequality Studies, and Policy Analysis and Management.

Due to the switch in academic pursuits, Elissa did not pursue PSP until the fall of her sophomore year, and feels fortunate to have joined the Alpha Eta class of Beta Nu.

Elissa's Lineage Line!

A descendent of the Dispenza line. Elissa is privy to being part of the best family Beta Nu has to offer. Elizabeth Hayes is her oldest matriarch; however, Elissa has only met up to her grand-big Pauli Evanson.
